CEJ Shepherd’s Pie

Ingredients

Mashed Potatoes

  • 6 medium potatoes, peeled & cubed

  • ½ cup milk

  • 2 tbsp blended seasoning

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 1 tsp sugar (optional)

Cream Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp parsley‑garlic oil

  • 1 cup milk

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp cream cheese

  • ½ cup water

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch or flour

Turkey Mince

  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp dried basil

  • ½ tsp rosemary

  • 2 tbsp blended seasoning

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • ½ tsp chili pepper flakes

  • ½ tsp garlic salt

  • 2 tbsp ketchup

  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce

  • 1 tsp sugar (optional)

  • ½ cup water

Instructions


1. Make the Mashed Potatoes

Boil potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with milk, blended seasoning, butter, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and optional sugar. Set aside.


2. Prepare the Cream Sauce

Melt butter with parsley‑garlic oil. Add milk, salt, and cream cheese.
Whisk cornstarch/flour with water to form a slurry and add to thicken.
Sweeten lightly if desired.


3. Cook the Turkey Mince

Season turkey with all listed ingredients.
Cook over medium heat, adding water to create a sauce.
Simmer until thickened.


4. Assemble & Bake

Layer mashed potatoes, turkey mince, and cream sauce in a baking dish.
Repeat until full, ending with cream sauce on top.
Sprinkle paprika.


Bake at 350°F for 25–30 minutes until lightly golden.
