Wisdom Collect
Wisdom Collect is a dual‑sided devotional bookmark that brings together two powerful reflections inspired by the quiet lessons found along the shoreline and the deeper spiritual truths revealed at the pier. Designed with CEJ Creations’ signature blend of photography, poetry, and prayer, this bookmark invites readers into a moment of stillness, clarity, and divine perspective.
On one side, Wisdom Beneath the Pier unfolds through warm sunset tones and the gentle rhythm of the ocean. The imagery of rising crab nets, patient seagulls, and the meeting place between sea and sky becomes a living metaphor for discernment, curiosity, and the wisdom God offers through everyday experiences. The poem guides the reader through a journey of noticing, pausing, and understanding — a reminder that not everything that glitters is meant to be pursued, and that God often speaks through the simplest scenes.
The reverse side, Lessons from the Pier, shifts into a night setting illuminated by fireworks and festival lights. Here, a heartfelt prayer rises from the page, reflecting on seasons of life, choices, maturity, and the quiet companionship of God. It speaks to the desire to grow, to listen, to exercise patience, and to recognize God’s presence in both the extraordinary and the ordinary. The prayer becomes a gentle conversation with the Father — one that encourages teachability, self‑control, and spiritual attentiveness.
Together, these two pieces form a complete devotional experience: a poem that observes, and a prayer that responds. A moment of reflection, and a moment of surrender. A lesson seen, and a lesson lived.
Finished with a gold tassel and set against the original pier photography, Wisdom Collect is more than a bookmark — it is a keepsake of spiritual growth, a companion for Bible reading, and a reminder that God speaks through the waves, the wind, the quiet, and the unexpected beauty of the pier.
Perfect for devotionals, journaling, gifting, or personal reflection, this bookmark invites every reader to pause, breathe, and gather the wisdom God places along their path.
