“The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life.”
— Psalm 121:7
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your unseen protection.
Thank You for the dangers I saw and avoided, but also for the dangers I never knew were there. Thank You for every journey safely completed, every road traveled, and every moment when Your hand protected me from harm.
Lord, I know that I cannot see everything ahead of me.
I do not know what waits around the next corner, who may act recklessly, or what danger may suddenly cross my path. But You know.
You see beyond my vision.
You see what is hidden.
You see what is coming before I arrive.
Help me never to take Your protection for granted.
When I drive, remind me to invite You into the journey. Let my vehicle become a place of worship. Let Your Word fill my mind, and let my thoughts become conversations with You.
When I feel afraid, remind me that Your arms are around me.
When I feel alone, remind me that Your ears are listening.
When I cannot see Your hand, help me trust Your heart.
Lord, protect me from the dangers around me and from the dangers within me. Protect me from impatience, distraction, anger, fear, and poor decisions.

Teach me to slow down when I need to slow down.
Teach me to wait when I need to wait.
Teach me to listen when You speak.
And when life brings me close to a disaster I cannot understand, help me remember that Your grace can stand between me and destruction.
Thank You for every near miss.
Thank You for every time mercy arrived before tragedy.
And Lord, if there are moments when I cannot understand why You allowed a certain road to unfold as it did, give me the faith to trust that You are still God.
Your protection may be unseen, but Your presence is real.
Your ways may be beyond my understanding, but Your plan is greater than my own.
So today, I place my journey in Your hands.
Guide my steps.
Guard my path.
Watch over my coming and going.
And keep me aware that every safe arrival is another reason to thank You.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
“He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge.”
— Psalm 91:4
