The Mask I Wear

Heavenly Father,

You know the face I show the world, but more importantly, You know the one hidden behind the mask. You see the wounds I hide, the tears I refuse to let fall, and the battles no one else knows I am fighting.

Lord, I am weary.

There are days when my strength feels exhausted, my hope grows faint, and my mind cannot find rest. Yet You remain faithful, even when I struggle to believe.

Forgive me for the sins that weigh heavily upon my heart. Wash me clean through Your mercy. Remove every burden that keeps me from experiencing Your peace.

Teach me to stop pretending that I am stronger than I am. Give me the courage to be honest before You, for I know You do not reject a broken heart.

Replace my fear with faith.
My sorrow with joy.
My confusion with wisdom.
My weakness with Your strength.

Help me remove every mask that hides the person You created me to be, and let Your light shine through every broken place in my life.

Thank You for never giving up on me, even when I have wanted to give up on myself.
