Love Beyond the Miles

Page 1

Distance may stretch across the miles,
Yet love refuses to measure by the road.
It does not weaken with each passing sunrise,
Nor fade with every silent night.

I married you
To share life's ordinary miracles—
To wake beside you,
To greet each morning with your smile,
To kiss you goodbye,
Knowing evening would bring us home again.

Today, the miles have stolen those moments,
But they have not stolen my heart.

For distance is only space,
Never the measure of devotion.
You remain in every prayer,
Every sunrise,
Every quiet thought,
Every breath that whispers your name.

You are my Valentine,
Not for a season,
Nor for a single day,
But for every day God grants us.

I carry you where no journey can reach—
Resting gently upon my heart,
Safely within my soul,
Alongside the faith that carries me.

And what a beautiful gift it is
To know that somewhere,
Beyond every mile,
There is one soul
Thinking of you,
Praying for you,
Waiting for you,
Cherishing you.

One simple call,
One familiar voice,
Can shorten the longest distance,
And remind two hearts
That love was never measured by geography.

So until the day
Our hands meet again,
Our mornings begin together,
And our evenings end in each other's embrace,

Know this—

Distance may separate our bodies,
But it can never separate
The covenant of our hearts.

You are my Valentine.
Today.
Tomorrow.
Forever.
