Lessons from the Pier

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for reminding me that You are present in every season of life and in every place I choose to walk.

Thank You for meeting me on a simple pier and turning what began as an ordinary day into an extraordinary lesson.

Teach me to seek the wisdom that comes only from You.

Help me not to chase every opportunity simply because it looks appealing. Give me discernment to recognize what leads to life and what quietly leads me away from Your purpose.

Like the patient creatures beneath the water, teach me when to move and when to wait. Let experience become a teacher rather than a burden, and may every success and every disappointment shape me into someone who reflects Your character.

Help me to exercise self-control, to be patient with others, and to value maturity over impulse. May my words, choices, and actions reveal the wisdom that Your Holy Spirit produces within me.

Open my eyes to see Your presence in creation, in strangers, in laughter, in silence, and in the ordinary moments that often pass unnoticed.

Thank You for replacing my loneliness with Your companionship and my uncertainty with Your peace.

May I always remain teachable, always willing to pause, observe, and listen for Your voice.

For when You speak, even the smallest moments become sacred.
